There are the flowers from our garden. I was having really hard time cutting there flowers as I care for my plants like my babies. But I really wanted to paint them once. So I cut it anyway. Now they are sitting in my flower pot in the living room.

There is this spot near my house which is on the small hill. This is the favorite spot of buffaloes to graze. Its a beautiful spot with lots of grass and you can see the town and the greenery from above. wind blows at the highest speed and you can just sit here and enjoy the nature, away from all the hustle bustle of the city.

Yesterday I had been to place near my house to paint. It was a lovely evening, nice sky, Smell of rice fields, sound of birds . It was a feast to all of senses. I enjoyed sitting and painting there for a long time.
I usually feel nervous when I paint in front of people. But yesterday I realized that I no longer feel that way. :)

I did this painting yesterday. I was feeling really tired after all day of mundane work in office. So I thought of doing a small still life and I immediately started feeling better. It really removed all the stress of the day. This is the reason I love to paint.

This is done from the reference photo taken on my malavan trip. When I took this shot it was evening time and many people were here to watch the beautiful sunset. Tides were colliding the rocks and creating beautiful patterns. It was so much fun. When I was doing this painting I remembered that beautiful feeling once again.

                 This is done from the photo reference which I had taken on one my treks in Himalaya. We had taken a short break and sat beside this river which followed us like a companion all the way till we reach our destination. I was very peaceful and calm there. I would love to go there once again to enjoy that peace which is a rare thing to experience in this fast moving world we live in today.

I had been on a short drive near my house. And spotted this beautiful rice fields. I was tempted to paint it there only but did not have my equipment's so came home and did this small painting from the photo reference.

Backwaters

This painting is done from the reference photo taken when I had beed to kerala. It is a beatufull land full of rivers, backwater, boats and palm trees. I enjoyed the stay on the riverboat for few days and had taken this photo that time. I came home and did this painting.
